The Ulster team for the Champions Cup against Scarlets has been announced. The injured duo of Ruan Pienaar and Dan Tuohy have both recovered and are named in the starting line up. It will be Pienaar's first appearance of the season, while Tuohy returns after his broken arm suffered against Cardiff back in Sept. There are 4 changes in total with Tommy Bowe and Robbie Diack also returning to the starting 15. Pienaar and Humphreys start together for the first time since Ulster’s European quarter-final win over Munster in 2012.

Ulster are the only side in their pool not to have won so far and will need to rack up the bonus points if they are to be taken seriously as contenders for the last eight. Speaking this week to EPCR Tommy Bowe said  "We need two wins first and foremost. We'll have to look at getting bonus points. We'd love to pick up maximum points and that's the aim. That would definitely be our aim but that can't be in our minds at the start. We'll go out and get the win and if we can pull away at the end and get the points.""Obviously Scarlets are looking forward to this match as well. They've won one. It's not going to be an easy match. They put in a great performance against Toulon away, so we know that. We've great history with the Scarlets.
